Limonium perezii ‘Atlantis’—also known as Sea Lavender or Statice—is a bold, drought-tolerant perennial that brings texture, colour, and resilience to coastal and inland gardens alike. Native to the Canary Islands, it’s well adapted to South African conditions and a favourite for both landscapes and cut flower arrangements.

Here’s what makes ‘Atlantis’ a standout:

Blooms: Clusters of deep blue to purple papery flowers on strong, wiry stems—ideal for drying or fresh bouquets.
Foliage: Broad, leathery, dark green leaves form a low rosette, creating a dramatic base.
Size: Grows 60–90 cm tall with a similar spread.
Conditions: Thrives in full sun, well-drained soil, and tolerates wind, salt, and moderate frost.
Uses: Perfect for rock gardens, borders, containers, or coastal plantings. Also attracts pollinators and adds long-lasting colour from spring through summer.
