Description

🌿 Coleonema Pulchellum Album – Compact Indigenous Shrub with Soft White Blooms

🌱 A Hardy, Fragrant Shrub for Fynbos, Borders & Coastal Gardens

Coleonema Pulchellum Album, also known as White Confetti Bush, is a compact, fine‑textured indigenous shrub celebrated for its aromatic foliage and masses of delicate white flowers. With its soft, feathery leaves and naturally rounded shape, Coleonema Pulchellum Album brings gentle movement, fragrance and year‑round structure to borders, pathways, rockeries and fynbos‑inspired gardens. During late winter and spring, the shrub becomes covered in tiny star‑shaped white blooms, creating a cloud‑like display that brightens any sunny garden space.

This hardy South African species thrives in full sun and well‑draining soil, making it an excellent choice for coastal gardens, water‑wise landscapes and low‑maintenance planting schemes. Its fine foliage responds beautifully to light shaping, allowing gardeners to maintain a neat, compact form without heavy pruning. Because it is naturally resilient and wind‑tolerant, it performs reliably in exposed areas where many other shrubs struggle.

Coleonema Pulchellum Album is especially valued for its ability to attract bees and beneficial insects, supporting biodiversity in both home gardens and larger landscapes. Whether used as a soft border shrub, a filler in mixed beds or a highlight in indigenous plantings, it delivers long‑lasting beauty with minimal care.
