Description

🌿 Abelia Francis Mason Patio Standard – Golden Evergreen Lollipop for Entrances, Patios & Formal Gardens

🌱 A Compact, Sculpted Feature Plant with Year‑Round Colour

A beautifully shaped evergreen lollipop‑style plant known for its bright golden foliage, neat, rounded canopy and long flowering season. With its glossy leaves that shift from warm yellow to lime‑green, this patio standard brings structure, colour and elegance to entrances, pathways, courtyards and formal garden layouts. The raised stem and perfectly rounded head create a clean architectural look that works exceptionally well in modern, classic and low‑maintenance landscapes.

During spring and summer, the Abelia Francis Mason Patio Standard produces masses of small, fragrant white‑pink flowers that soften the golden foliage and attract bees. The blooms appear for many months, adding movement and seasonal interest while maintaining the plant’s refined, sculpted form. Its compact growth habit and evergreen nature make it a reliable, easy‑care feature plant for pots, patios and decorative garden spaces.

This variety thrives in full sun to semi‑shade and adapts well to most well‑draining soils. It is heat‑tolerant, hardy and low‑maintenance, making it ideal for South African gardens. Whether used as a pair to frame an entrance, placed in decorative containers or incorporated into formal beds, this patio standard delivers year‑round beauty with minimal effort.
