The Escallonia Gold Brian is a vibrant, evergreen shrub celebrated for its gold‑variegated foliage, compact growth habit, and soft clusters of pink flowers that appear throughout the warmer months. With its bright yellow‑green leaves and neat, bushy form, this hardy shrub brings year‑round colour, structure, and visual interest to any garden. Whether used as a low hedge, border plant, or container feature, the Escallonia Gold Brian adds cheerful brightness to both modern and traditional landscapes.

🌱 Bright, Hardy & Exceptionally Versatile

The Escallonia Gold Brian thrives in full sun to semi‑shade and adapts well to a variety of well‑draining soils. Its golden foliage stands out beautifully in sunny areas, creating a warm glow that enhances surrounding plants. The shrub’s naturally dense, upright growth makes it ideal for shaping, clipping, and structured garden designs.

This variety is also wind‑tolerant, making it suitable for coastal gardens and exposed sites. Once established, it becomes increasingly water‑wise, requiring minimal maintenance while still delivering strong colour and seasonal blooms.

The Escallonia Gold Brian is ideal for:

• Low to medium hedges
• Pathway and driveway borders
