Description

🌿 Hebe ‘Amy’ — Compact Evergreen Shrub with Soft Purple Blooms

Hebe ‘Amy’ is a compact evergreen shrub known for its neat shape, glossy foliage, and soft purple flower spikes. This reliable garden favourite brings colour, structure, and texture to beds, borders, and containers. Its tidy growth habit makes it ideal for modern gardens, pathways, and small spaces where a clean, organised look is needed.

The shrub produces masses of purple‑lilac flowers from late spring into summer. These blooms attract bees and butterflies, adding movement and life to the garden. The glossy green leaves stay attractive throughout the year, giving the plant strong evergreen appeal. Hebe ‘Amy’ works beautifully as a feature shrub, a border plant, or a filler in mixed beds.

This variety thrives in full sun to semi‑shade and prefers well‑draining soil. It handles coastal conditions, light frost, and heat with ease. Once established, it requires minimal care. Light pruning after flowering helps maintain its shape and encourages fresh growth. Its compact size also makes it suitable for pots and decorative containers on patios and balconies.

Whether used in cottage gardens, contemporary landscapes, or wildlife‑friendly spaces, Hebe ‘Amy’ offers dependable colour and year‑round structure with very little effort.
