Moringa oleifera (Miracle Tree / Drumstick Tree) A powerhouse of nutrition and resilience, Moringa oleifera offers feathery foliage, fragrant white flowers, and long, slender seed pods packed with health benefits. Every part of the tree—leaves, pods, seeds, and even roots—has traditional uses in food, medicine, and water purification.

Size: Grows 6–12 m tall with a light, open canopy.
Growth Rate: Extremely fast—can reach 2–3 m in its first year.
Soil & Water: Thrives in well-drained, sandy or loamy soil. Drought-tolerant once established.
Light: Full sun is essential for optimal growth and flowering.
Uses:
- Leaves: Rich in vitamins A, C, calcium, iron, and protein—used fresh or dried as a superfood.
- Pods: Known as “drumsticks,” used in curries and stews.
- Seeds: Can be pressed for oil or used to purify water.
Climate: Prefers warm, frost-free areas. In cooler zones, grow in containers and overwinter indoors.
