Protea Sheila produces rounded flower heads with delicately layered pink bracts that lighten toward the tips, creating a soft, glowing effect. Its upright growth habit and evergreen foliage ensure year‑round structure and visual appeal in a wide range of garden styles.

Key features include:

• Soft pink bracts with graceful form
• Evergreen and low‑maintenance
• Mature height: ±1.5–2 m
• Excellent for cut‑flower arrangements
• Symmetrical, well‑layered flower heads
• Strong stems and reliable flowering

☀️ Growing Conditions

Full sun and well‑drained, sandy or acidic soil for best performance. Moderate watering during establishment supports healthy root development, after which the plant becomes more tolerant of dry conditions. This variety performs well in coastal, windy, and warm regions. Avoid heavy clay soils and overwatering to maintain long‑term plant health. Light pruning after flowering helps maintain shape and encourages fresh growth.
