The Auther Bell Hybrid Tea rose brings a warm burst of golden colour to any garden. It produces large, bright yellow blooms that open in a classic hybrid‑tea shape, creating a cheerful and elegant display throughout the growing season. Because this rose flowers repeatedly, it adds long‑lasting beauty and fragrance to sunny South African landscapes.

🌱 Growth & Appearance of Auther Bell Hybrid Tea

This rose grows upright and develops glossy, dark‑green foliage that highlights its vivid yellow blooms. The petals form a high‑centered shape, giving each flower a refined and structured look. As the plant matures, it develops strong stems that support the blooms well, which makes them ideal for cutting. Moreover, the balanced growth habit ensures the plant remains neat and attractive in both garden beds and decorative containers.

🌞 Growing Conditions

To achieve the best colour and fragrance, plant this rose in full sun. It thrives in well‑drained soil enriched with compost, and it benefits from deep, consistent watering. However, avoid waterlogging, since healthy roots depend on proper drainage. After each flush, prune lightly to encourage fresh growth and more blooms. Additionally, feeding with a balanced rose fertilizer every 6–8 weeks helps maintain strong stems and vibrant flowers throughout the season.

🏡 Landscape Use

This rose suits a wide range of garden styles. Whether placed in borders, beds, or containers, it adds brightness and sophistication. Its bold yellow blooms pair beautifully with greens, whites, and purples, allowing gardeners to create striking colour combinations. Furthermore, the long stems make it an excellent choice for cut‑flower arrangements, bringing its cheerful colour indoors.
