🌿 Serissa Foetida Variegata – Compact Variegated Shrub with Delicate White Blooms

🌱 A Fine‑Textured, Evergreen Shrub with Year‑Round Interest

Known as Variegated Snow Rose, is a compact evergreen shrub admired for its delicate white flowers and beautifully variegated foliage. With its small, creamy‑edged leaves and naturally dense branching, Serissa Foetida Variegata brings refined texture and soft colour contrast to borders, pathways, rockeries and decorative containers. During the warmer months, the plant produces masses of tiny star‑shaped white blooms, creating a charming, cloud‑like display that brightens any garden space.

This versatile shrub thrives in full sun to semi‑shade and prefers well‑draining, compost‑enriched soil. Its compact size and fine structure make it ideal for smaller gardens, townhouse courtyards and pot plantings. Because of its naturally intricate branching and small leaves, Serissa Foetida Variegata is also a favourite for bonsai enthusiasts, offering year‑round beauty and excellent shaping potential.

Once established, the plant is hardy and low‑maintenance, requiring only light trimming to maintain its neat, rounded form. Its variegated foliage provides visual interest even when not in bloom, making it a reliable choice for gardeners seeking subtle elegance and continuous appeal.
