This premium fig variety is a favourite among collectors, home gardeners, and anyone who values rich, gourmet fruit.

🍇 Exceptional Flavour & Texture The fruit of the Fig Col de Dame Noir is famous for its intensely sweet, berry‑like flavour and dense, syrupy flesh. Its rich red interior has a smooth, jammy texture that makes it ideal for:

• Fresh eating • Jams & preserves • Baking • Drying • Gourmet platters

☀️ Light Requirements This fig thrives in full sun, where it develops its strongest flavour and best fruit quality. A warm, sunny position helps the tree produce consistent crops throughout the season.

💧 Watering & Soil The Fig Col de Dame Noir prefers well‑drained soil and benefits from deep watering during establishment. Once mature, it becomes drought‑tolerant and easy to maintain. Mulching around the base helps retain moisture and encourages healthy root growth.

🌱 Growth Habit & Tree Features This variety grows into a medium‑sized tree with attractive foliage and strong branching. It is suitable for garden beds, orchards, and large containers. With light winter pruning, the tree produces reliable, high‑quality harvests year after year.

🍂 Harvest Season Fruit ripens from late summer to early autumn, offering a generous supply of dark, flavour‑packed figs.
